Lebanon’s Information Minister and Photojournalists’ Syndicate Head Discuss Media Law and Press Cooperation

Beirut:Information Minister Dr. Paul Morcos met with Ali Alloush, the President of the Photojournalists' Syndicate, to discuss the new media law, professional rights, and collaboration between media organizations in Lebanon and Syria.

According to National news agency - Lebanon, the discussions focused on key aspects of the new legislation, emphasizing the need to protect the rights and interests of Lebanese media professionals.

The meeting also highlighted potential cooperation between the Lebanese and Syrian information ministries, aiming to simplify journalists' entry and movement between the two countries. Alloush mentioned that this issue is still being reviewed and coordinated with the relevant professional bodies.

Furthermore, an agreement was reached to organize a ceremony honoring Lebanese photojournalists for their professional contributions and field reporting efforts. The date for this event will be announced soon.
