In a message posted on his "X" account, Makhzoumi extended his congratulations to the American people on the occasion of the 250th anniversary of the United States' independence.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Makhzoumi highlighted the impact of America's ideals of liberty, democracy, and opportunity, which have inspired generations worldwide. He underscored the importance of the U.S.'s support for Lebanon, particularly in terms of assisting the Lebanese Armed Forces and fostering a sovereign, secure, and peaceful future for the nation.
