Baabda: Administrative Development Minister, Fadi Makki, on Thursday stressed, following his meeting with President Joseph Aoun at Baabda Palace, the "utmost importance" of consolidating and expanding the ceasefire to ensure it is comprehensive and complete.

According to National Nws Aency - Lebanon, Makki stated that the ceasefire must entail a full halt to all hostilities without exception, including the destruction of homes in border villages. He emphasized that a permanent ceasefire is essential to launching negotiations, protecting civilians, and reinforcing stability.
