Bkerki: Maronite Patriarch Cardinal Mar Bechara Boutros al-Rahi on Wednesday received Egyptian Ambassador to Lebanon Alaa Moussa at the patriarchal seat in Bkerki.

According to National News Agency – Lebanon, the meeting between Patriarch al-Rahi and Ambassador Moussa took place in an atmosphere of mutual respect and understanding. The discussions reportedly focused on strengthening bilateral relations between Lebanon and Egypt, as well as addressing regional issues of mutual concern.

The visit by Ambassador Moussa underscores the ongoing diplomatic engagements between Lebanon and Egypt. The Egyptian Embassy in Lebanon and the Maronite Church have traditionally maintained close relations, reflecting the broader ties between the two countries.
