Bkerke:Maronite Patriarch Cardinal Bechara Boutros Rai welcomed Tamim Khallaf, the newly appointed Egyptian Ambassador to Lebanon, at the patriarchal headquarters on Wednesday afternoon.

According to National news agency - Lebanon, the meeting was an introductory courtesy visit following Ambassador Khallaf's recent assumption of his diplomatic role in Lebanon.

The discussions during the visit focused on strengthening bilateral relations and reviewing the latest developments in Lebanon and the wider region.
