MAWLAWI: 975 KG OF CANNABIS BOUND FOR EUROPE SEIZED AT BEIRUT PORT

The Internal Security Forces’ anti-narcotics bureau has seized 975 kg of cannabis at the Beirut seaport, hidden inside consumer goods boxes and heading to a European country, Interior Minister Bassam Mawlawi announced in a tweet on Wednesday.

He added that search for those involved in the smuggling operation is underway after they have been identified.
