Minister of Interior and Municipalities, Judge Bassam Mawlawi, stressed in an interview with “Al-Sharq” Saudi Channel that “the security situation is under control, and a tight security plan has been developed to ensure the protection of centers and the integrity of the electoral process.”

In response to a question, Mawlawi said, “Electricity is the biggest challenge, but we have taken it upon ourselves to secure power and we will be able to make the electoral process a success.”

“Everyone will witness to the impartiality of the Interior Ministry throughout the day tomorrow until the results are announced,” he asserted.
