Beirut: Finance Minister, Yassine Jaber, on Monday received Agriculture Minister, Nizar Hani, and the Ministry’s Director General Louis Lahoud at his office to discuss support for Lebanon’s agricultural sector.

According to National News Agency – Lebanon, the meeting focused on topics aimed at enhancing the status of the agricultural sector in Lebanon and exploring ways to provide necessary support. The ministers exchanged views on potential strategies to bolster the sector’s development and sustainability.

In addition to his meeting with the Agriculture Minister, Minister Jaber also held discussions with Dr. Khater Abi Habib, Chairman of the National Institute for the Guarantee of Deposits (Kafalat). The discussions with Dr. Abi Habib were centered around financial assurances and mechanisms that could further support economic sectors, including agriculture.
