Beirut: Minister of Culture, Dr. Ghassan Salameh, met with a group of film enthusiasts affiliated with the Émile Chahine Foundation at the National Library-Sanayeh. The group included lawyer Graziela Saliba Maakaroun, Shadia Khater, Dr. Mansour Hjeily, and Dr. Michel Saadeh. According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the participants briefed Minister Salameh on the preparations for the tribute ceremony dedicated to Émile Chahine. The event will celebrate Chahine's career and his significant contributions as a critic in the cultural and artistic sectors, especially in cinema, where he is regarded as an iconic figure. The tribute ceremony is scheduled for February 27 at the Jounieh Latin Theatre and will be held under the auspices of the Ministry of Culture.
