Nahr Ibrahim: The Ministry of Public Works and Transport has successfully completed the installation of steel guard rails with reinforced bases along a 200-meter stretch on both the eastern and western lanes of the coastal highway in the Nahr Ibrahim area. This development is part of the Ministry’s ongoing initiatives aimed at enhancing road safety on the main transportation routes across Lebanon.
According to National News Agency – Lebanon, the primary objective of this installation is to mitigate the risk of traffic accidents by preventing vehicles from veering off the roadway. This measure is particularly crucial in high-risk zones and sharp curves, thereby aiming to enhance protection for all road users under varying conditions.
The project was executed in coordination with the General Directorate of Internal Security Forces – Public Relations Division. This collaboration included the issuance of a traffic advisory to ensure the smooth flow of vehicles during the implementation period.
