Hazmieh: Deputy Head of the Higher Islamic Shiite Council, Sheikh Ali Al-Khatib, on Thursday received at the Council’s headquarters Minister of National Defense, Michel Menassa, who extended Eid al-Fitr greetings.

According to National News Agency – Lebanon, the two officials engaged in a comprehensive discussion on recent developments, focusing specifically on the situation in the south and the ongoing Israeli aggression against Lebanon.

In a separate meeting, Sheikh Al-Khatib welcomed the Secretary General of the Progressive Socialist Party, Dhafer Nasser, who offered Eid al-Adha greetings. They explored the prospects for the upcoming phase during their discussions.
