Minor Earthquake of Magnitude 2.8 Recorded off Lebanon’s Coast

Lebanon: Lebanon's National Center for Geophysics said a 2.8-magnitude earthquake was recorded at 2:09 a.m. local time on Tuesday, April 7, 2026. In a post on X, the center said the tremor's epicenter was located offshore Lebanon's coast.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the earthquake was minor and there were no immediate reports of damage or injuries. The center continues to monitor seismic activity in the region to provide updates if necessary.
