Beirut: The Ministry of Public Works and Transport has announced the commencement of maintenance works on the Hazmieh-Dahr el-Baidar-Chtaura highway. These repairs, facilitated through a contracting company, aim to address potholes along this crucial international road. The initiative is part of routine maintenance efforts to enhance road safety and maintain seamless traffic flow on this significant transportation route.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the repair works are scheduled to last for seven days, beginning on Wednesday, April 22, 2026. The ministry has outlined that the project will adhere to the approved timeline, ensuring completion within the specified period.

The Ministry of Public Works and Transport has emphasized its commitment to maintaining the highest safety standards throughout the repair process. It has also urged citizens to follow instructions from the Internal Security Forces and to adhere to on-site signage to facilitate smooth and safe operations for both workers and road users.
