MoPWT to Commence Coastal Highway Safety Works in Tabarja

Tabarja: The Ministry of Public Works and Transport announced that public safety works will begin on the western carriageway of the coastal highway in Tabarja, heading toward Beirut, on Thursday morning, September 17.

According to National news agency - Lebanon, due to the nature of the works, which require the positioning of heavy machinery and equipment on the roadway, several lanes will be closed in stages in coordination with the Internal Security Forces and the Jounieh Traffic Detachment. The road will, however, remain open to traffic throughout the works.

The ministry urged motorists to follow the instructions of Internal Security Forces personnel and observe traffic signs at the work site to help ensure public safety and maintain traffic flow.

The works are expected to be completed within one day, after which normal traffic movement will resume.
