Beirut: Minister of Information, Paul Morcos, on Wednesday received a delegation from the Francophone Press Association in his office at the ministry.
According to National News Agency – Lebanon, the delegation was led by Dr. Rola Azar Douglass and comprised journalists Sarah Sader and Tracy Daej. Yassar Nadaf, the Minister’s Advisor for Francophone Affairs, was also present during the meeting.
The discussions centered around the current activities and future work plan of the association. Emphasis was placed on promoting journalism, combating fake news, and addressing issues related to the Francophone community. The evolving role of new media was also a significant topic of conversation, highlighting the need for adapting to changes in the media landscape.
