Beirut:MP Sajih Atieh described his meeting with President Joseph Aoun as positive, emphasizing discussions on national developments and several pressing issues.

According to National news agency - Lebanon, Atieh noted that President Aoun is committed to national unity, civil peace, Lebanon's neutrality, and the restoration of full sovereignty.

Atieh expressed confidence in the current presidential term and its governance approach. He also mentioned that their discussions included the recovery of depositors' funds, the need to expedite work on René Mouawad Airport, and issues concerning the Lebanese University, as well as other matters affecting northern Lebanon.
