Beirut: Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that the signing of a framework agreement with Lebanon represents a "major blow to Iran."

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, in a video message transmitted by Sky News Arabia, Netanyahu stated: "Iran is trying to force us to withdraw from southern Lebanon by means of force. Essentially, Israel, Lebanon, and the United States are telling them: 'This is none of your business. You have no role in Lebanon-neither you, nor Hezbollah, nor any terrorist organization.'"

Netanyahu also emphasized that Israel would not withdraw from security areas in southern Lebanon unless Hezbollah is disarmed, following the signing of the framework agreement between Lebanon and Israel in Washington. He reiterated Israel's stance, declaring that the country would remain in the security zone in southern Lebanon "as long as Hezbollah does not disarm and as long as a threat to Israel remains."

Regarding field arrangements, Netanyahu mentioned that Israel would establish two pilot areas based on a recommendation from the Israeli military. One area would be outside the security zone south of the Litani River, and another north of the river, with a small portion falling within the expanded security zone secured over the past two weeks. He clarified that this is "an area the IDF does not need," as he explained.
