Mexico: Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, on Friday threatened to make Hezbollah pay a "very heavy price" following the killing of Israeli soldiers in South Lebanon, declaring that Israeli forces would remain in Lebanese territory "for as long as necessary."
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Netanyahu issued a statement after a security assessment meeting with Defense Minister Israel Katz and military commanders. He emphasized that he had instructed the Israeli army to continue operations against what he described as security threats.
Katz stated that Israel would maintain its presence in South Lebanon and would respond "with great force" to any attack.
