Netanyahu’s Office Announces That Israeli Officials Will Not Partake In Egypt’s Summit On Gaza

Beirut: Israel announced Sunday that it will not send any representatives to the Gaza peace summit scheduled for Monday in Egypt, chaired by US President Donald Trump and his Egyptian counterpart Abdel Fattah el-Sisi. “No Israeli official will attend,” Shosh Bedrosian, spokeswoman for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office, told Agence France.

According to National News Agency – Lebanon, the decision marks a significant development in the ongoing regional discussions concerning peace efforts in Gaza. The summit aims to address the escalating tensions and explore potential resolutions. The absence of Israeli officials may impact the dynamics and outcomes of the discussions, as Israel is a key player in the region’s geopolitical landscape.
