New Voter Turnout Percentages Released for Akkar and North Governorates

Beirut: The Ministry of Interior and Municipalities has released the latest voter turnout percentages for the Governorates of Akkar and the North. The data provides a detailed breakdown of voter participation in several key areas, revealing varying levels of electoral engagement across the region.

According to National News Agency – Lebanon, the voter turnout in Akkar stood at 47.77%, reflecting a significant level of engagement among the local electorate. In contrast, Tripoli recorded a lower turnout of 26.70%, indicating a different trend in voter participation within the region. Zgharta saw a turnout of 39.22%, while Bcharre reported 32.45%.

The turnout figures also highlighted Minnieh-Dinnieh as having the highest participation rate at 51.17%, suggesting a robust voter interest in this area. Koura had a turnout of 39.12%, and Batroun closely followed with 49.71%.

In terms of the number of voters, the North Governorate had 225,552 participants, accounting for a turnout percentage of 36.72%. Meanwhile, Akkar had 14,883 voters, with a turnout percentage slightly higher at 47.81%.

These statistics provide insight into the political engagement levels across different districts, offering a snapshot of regional electoral dynamics.
