Beirut:Finance and Budget Committee Chairman MP Ibrahim Kanaan announced following a committee meeting that discussions had reached Article 40 of the tax amendments section.

According to National news agency - Lebanon, Kanaan confirmed that no new taxes had been identified in the provisions examined so far, noting that the amendments primarily focused on granting taxpayers additional deadlines and payment facilities.

He also commended lawmakers for their work and praised the cooperation with the Ministry of Finance, highlighting the efforts devoted to reviewing and debating the proposed provisions.
