Tripoli: The US Special Envoy to Libya, Ambassador "Richard Norland", said, "We will continue to work with the African Union and the Presidential Council to support the Libyan parties participating in the national reconciliation efforts." This came during his meeting today, Thursday, in Tunisia, with the African Union Ambassador "Wahida Al-Ayari", during which they discussed the national reconciliation process in Libya. "Norland" stressed in a tweet published by the US Embassy in Libya via its account on the "X" platform during the meeting that the current political climate urgently needs to move forward with a comprehensive national reconciliation process that will provide the basis for permanent stability in Libya.
