Parliamentary Committees and Book Signing Highlight Beirut’s Agenda

Beirut: The day in Beirut is marked by significant meetings and events, beginning with the Agriculture and Tourism Committee’s session at 10:00 am. The committee, led by MP Ayoub Hmeid, is set to convene at the Parliament office building, specifically on the first floor in Room 110.

According to National News Agency – Lebanon, Speaker Nabih Berri is scheduled to lead a joint session at 11:00 am. This session will involve several key parliamentary committees, including Finance and Budget; Administration and Justice; Public Health, Labor and Social Affairs; National Defense, Interior and Municipalities; and Information Technology, Media and Telecommunications. The discussions will take place in the main hall, focusing on the outlined agenda.

Later in the day, at 4:00 pm, Dr. Nasib Mohammad Hoteit is expected to host a book signing event at UNESCO Palace, Beirut. The event will feature his new book, ‘The Israeli Invasion – 1982: Causes and Consequences,’ and will be held on the ground floor.
