Beirut: Greek Orthodox Patriarch of Antioch and All the East, John X, arrived Sunday in Rome accompanied by an ecclesiastical delegation. He was welcomed by Lebanon's Ambassador to the Holy See, Dr. Fadi Assaf, alongside representatives of the Holy See.

According to National news agency - Lebanon, on Monday, the Patriarch will begin his official visit to the Vatican, during which he is expected to meet with Pope Francis. During his time in the Vatican, he will hold a series of meetings with senior Holy See officials, most notably the Secretary of State of the Holy See, Cardinal Pietro Parolin.
