Pharmacists’ Syndicate Assures Three-Month Drug Supply, Urges Against Hoarding

Beirut: The Pharmacists’ Syndicate announced precautionary measures on Monday amid escalating security developments, affirming that current drug stocks in pharmacies, companies, and warehouses are sufficient to meet market needs for at least three months.

According to National News Agency – Lebanon, the syndicate, in coordination with drug importers and warehouse owners, confirmed that supply chains remain operational and that import and distribution processes continue regularly in cooperation with the Ministry of Public Health.

The syndicate called on pharmacies and companies with surplus medication to register available quantities to support potential shelter centers and displacement areas if needed. It urged citizens not to hoard medicines or purchase excessive quantities, warning that unnecessary stockpiling could strain distribution networks and limit access for other patients.
