PM Nawaf Salam Addresses Structural Concerns in Tripoli with MP Nasser

Beirut: Prime Minister Dr. Nawaf Salam engaged in discussions with MP Haidar Nasser at the Grand Serail concerning the critical issue of cracked buildings in Tripoli. The head of the Higher Relief Commission, Brigadier General Bassam Nabulsi, was also in attendance during the meeting, which covered both the structural concerns and broader conditions affecting the northern city.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, MP Nasser emphasized the discussions with Premier Salam focused on the dossier related to structurally unsafe buildings in Tripoli. The conversation highlighted the importance of addressing these concerns systematically and efficiently, with the Arab Fund's support for a comprehensive survey proposed as a critical first step. This initiative aims to methodically assess the situation in a scientific and objective manner, with prospects of establishing a donations fund to support reinforcement and reconstruction endeavors.

Furthermore, MP Nasser brought attention to the broader infrastructure issues within Tripoli, stressing the need for strategic interventions to address these challenges effectively.
