Baabda: President of the Republic, General Joseph Aoun, met with the Minister of Interior and Municipalities, Ahmad Al-Hajjar, at Baabda Palace to discuss the security situation in Lebanon. Minister Al-Hajjar provided an update on the procedures being implemented by the security apparatuses to ensure the nation's stability and safety.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Minister Al-Hajjar expressed his unwavering support for President Aoun's national initiatives aimed at protecting Lebanon and preserving its sovereignty. He emphasized the importance of leading the country out of the ongoing conflict, with a focus on achieving Israeli withdrawal and extending the state's authority throughout its territory.

Minister Al-Hajjar also highlighted the positive outcomes of President Aoun's recent visit to Washington, noting the warm reception and international confidence it has generated for Lebanon and its institutions. He described the summit between President Aoun and U.S. President Donald Trump as a significant milestone in Lebanese-American relations, portraying strong support for Lebanon on the global stage.
