Beirut: Prime Minister, Dr. Nawaf Salam, visited the operations room at the Ministry of Interior and Municipalities to monitor the vote counting process in the municipal and mayoral elections in Mount Lebanon Governorate.
According to National News Agency – Lebanon, Dr. Salam’s visit was aimed at ensuring the transparency and efficiency of the electoral process. The Prime Minister’s presence highlighted the government’s commitment to upholding democratic principles and maintaining public confidence in the electoral system.
As the vote counting proceeded, Dr. Salam engaged with officials and staff at the Ministry, emphasizing the importance of accuracy and diligence in the process. His oversight was part of broader government efforts to enhance electoral integrity and accountability in Lebanon.
