Beirut: Prime Minister Dr. Nawaf Salam received UNIFIL Force Commander General Diodato Abagnara at the Grand Serail this afternoon. The meeting reportedly touched on the situation in the south, the coordination between UNIFIL and the Lebanese Army, and the progress made in implementing UN Resolution 1701.

According to National News Agency – Lebanon, preparations for the post-UNIFIL phase were also discussed.
