Beirut: Prime Minister Dr. Nawaf Salam, on Friday received at the Grand Serail, the head of the Economic, Social and Environmental Council, Charles Arbid, who briefed him on the launch of the work of the council's committees.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Premier Salam briefed Arbid on the outcomes of his visit to Syria, particularly regarding the development of trade and economic relations between the two countries, in a way that serves their mutual interest.
