Beirut: Prime Minister Dr. Nawaf Salam, on Wednesday, received Canadian Minister of State for International Development Randeep Sarai to discuss the current situation in Lebanon and the region. The discussions also focused on enhancing bilateral relations and cooperation between Lebanon and Canada.

According to National news agency - Lebanon, the meeting addressed how Canada can support Lebanon's efforts to advance the return and recovery process in the southern region. This support is crucial amid the state's limited resources and growing needs. The discussions aimed to enhance Lebanon's ability to meet the needs of returning residents and consolidate stability in the region.
