Beirut: Prime Minister Dr. Nawaf Salam on Thursday received updates from key officials about the ongoing recovery and debris removal efforts in southern Lebanon. During the briefing, Minister of Social Affairs Haneen El Sayed, President of the South Council Hashem Haidar, Secretary-General of the Higher Relief Council Brigadier General Bassam Nabulsi, and Head of the Central Operations Room at the Presidency of the Council of Ministers Zahi Shaheen provided insights into the progress of restoring basic services and rehabilitating roads in the region.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the meeting also addressed the situation of families who remain displaced, focusing on strategies to meet their needs and provide continued support until they can safely return to their homes. The officials emphasized the importance of sustained efforts to ensure a smooth recovery process in the affected areas.
