Beirut: Prime Minister, Nawaf Salam, on Tuesday strongly condemned the attacks targeting Saudi Arabia, describing them as a blatant violation of the Kingdom's sovereignty, security and territorial integrity, and a direct threat to regional and international peace and stability.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Salam reaffirmed Lebanon's full solidarity with Saudi Arabia, its leadership, government and people, and expressed unwavering support for the Kingdom in confronting threats to its security and sovereignty. He also endorsed Saudi Arabia's right to take the measures it deems necessary to protect its territory, citizens and national interests in accordance with the right to self-defense.
He concluded that the continued attacks reflect a dangerous determination to undermine efforts aimed at restoring security and stability across the Gulf region.
