Jenin - Ma'an - The police seized today a group of counterfeit $100 banknotes in Jenin. The Public Relations and Media Department of the Police stated that based on information provided to the police about a person in possession of narcotics and counterfeit currency inside his home in one of the towns of the governorate, a force from the Anti-Narcotics Department branch, supported by the Special Police and National Security, moved to his home after obtaining a search warrant from the Public Prosecution. Upon searching it properly, 87 counterfeit banknotes were seized. She confirmed that the suspect would be detained and the seized items would be kept in custody until he is referred to the competent authorities to take the necessary legal measures against him.
