Beirut: National News Agency correspondent reported that the official farewell ceremony for His Holiness Pope Leo XIV has begun, starting with the Lebanese national anthem and the Vatican anthem. The Pope shook hands with those bidding him farewell, with President General Joseph Aoun delivering Lebanon’s farewell address.

According to National News Agency – Lebanon, the ceremony marks the conclusion of Pope Leo XIV’s visit to Lebanon. The event, held at Beirut Airport, was attended by various dignitaries and representatives. The Pope’s visit was noted for its importance in strengthening ties between Lebanon and the Vatican.
