Popular Mobilization Intelligence Overthrew a Dangerous International Drug Smuggling Network in Western Iraq A statement by the Popular Mobilization Authority stated that under the supervision of the Chairman of the Popular Mobilization Authority, Faleh Al-Fayyadh, and the Chief of Staff, Abdul Aziz Al-Muhammadawi, the Intelligence and Information Assistant was able to carry out a complex intelligence operation that overthrew a dangerous international drug smuggling network in western Iraq. It explained that the Intelligence and Information Assistant detachments in the General Military Intelligence Directorate in western Iraq were able to seize 20 kg of crystal meth during the operation, which was being smuggled by an international drug trafficking network in several countries to Iraq. It added: The delicate and sensitive operation took several weeks to achieve the desired goal and strike the network that threatened Iraq and its security and worked to undermine its sources of strength and target its youth.
