Kuwait City: President of the Republic, General Joseph Aoun, and his accompanying delegation departed from Kuwait’s capital, heading back to Beirut after concluding an official visit. During his stay, President Aoun engaged in meetings with several key figures, including the Emir of Kuwait, Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Kuwait Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khalid Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, Acting Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Fahad Yusuf Saud Al-Sabah, and other senior officials.

According to National News Agency – Lebanon, while leaving Kuwaiti airspace, President Aoun sent a cable to Prince Mishal, expressing his gratitude for the warm welcome and constructive discussions. He highlighted the Emir’s unwavering support for Lebanon and the ongoing efforts to strengthen the bilateral relations between the two nations.

The cable emphasized President Aoun’s appreciation for the hospitality extended by Sheikh Mishal and expressed his satisfaction with the dialogues held, which aim to enhance cooperation in areas of mutual interest. President Aoun also conveyed his wishes for continued progress and prosperity for the State of Kuwait.
