Beirut: President of the Republic General Joseph Aoun, accompanied by his adviser, retired Brigadier General Andr© Rahhal, visited Saint George Maronite Cathedral in Downtown Beirut to offer condolences to MP Camille Chamoun and his family following the death of his father, Dory Chamoun, who was a former National Liberal Party leader and former MP.

According to National news agency - Lebanon, President Aoun was welcomed by members of the Chamoun family. During his visit, he expressed his condolences and sympathy, highlighting Dory Chamoun's national and political contributions and acknowledging the significant loss his passing represents for Lebanon.

The condolence gathering took place at the cathedral hall, attended by various political and public figures who came to extend their sympathies to the Chamoun family.
