Beirut: President of the Republic, Joseph Aoun, met Monday at Baabda Palace with Chinese Ambassador to Lebanon, Qian Minjian, who handed his host a letter of congratulations from China’s President Xi Jinping.

According to National News Agency – Lebanon, the meeting was held to deliver a message from the Chinese president, marking a significant diplomatic gesture. The content of the letter from President Xi Jinping was not disclosed, but such communications typically emphasize strengthening bilateral relations and cooperation between the two countries.
