President Joseph Aoun Broaches Developments and Ways to Consecrate Ceasefire with U.S. Ambassador

Beirut: President of the Republic, General Joseph Aoun, on Monday received U.S. Ambassador to Lebanon, Michel Issa, with whom he discussed the general situation in light of recent developments, as well as his contacts with U.S. President Donald Trump and Secretary of State Marco Rubio. The discussion also covered the period following last week's meeting that took place at the U.S. Department of State, and ways to maintain the ceasefire.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the meeting was part of ongoing efforts to address the evolving political and security landscape in the region. President Aoun and Ambassador Issa reviewed strategies to uphold the ceasefire agreement and explored diplomatic channels to ensure sustained peace. Discussions emphasized the importance of international cooperation in achieving stability and addressing ongoing challenges.
