Paris: President Joseph Aoun addressed the Preparatory Meeting for the International Conference in Support of the Lebanese Armed Forces and the Internal Security Forces, expressing gratitude towards international allies for their support. He highlighted the critical role of the Lebanese Army and the Internal Security Forces in maintaining security and stability, calling for international support to empower these institutions. The President also discussed the trilateral framework with Israel, which aims to end ongoing conflict and usher in a new era of stability.
President Aoun stressed the increasing responsibilities of the Lebanese Armed Forces, particularly in the South and along the borders, where they combat trafficking and maintain security amidst persistent Israeli aggressions.
