Beirut: President of the Republic General Joseph Aoun, on Thursday held a phone call with Bahrain's King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, expressing Lebanon's condemnation, president and people, of the attacks that targeted the Kingdom.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, President Aoun affirmed the Lebanese people's solidarity with their brotherly Bahraini people amid the current circumstances. During the call, the two sides also discussed developments in the region, bilateral relations, and ways to further develop them. They reaffirmed their shared commitment to continuing to support and strengthen bilateral cooperation, particularly in the economic and political fields, in a manner that serves the common interests of both countries and their brotherly peoples.
