Beirut: President of the Republic, General Joseph Aoun, received phone calls from Cypriot President Nicos Christodoulides and Libyan Prime Minister Abdul Hamid Dbeibeh, discussing pivotal regional security and military issues.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, during his conversation with President Christodoulides, President Aoun explored the security landscape in Lebanon and the broader region. President Christodoulides underscored the longstanding friendship between the peoples of Lebanon and Cyprus, noting the significant commonalities that bond the two nations.
In a separate call with Libyan Prime Minister Dbeibeh, President Aoun discussed the prevailing developments affecting Lebanon. Prime Minister Dbeibeh reiterated Libya's support for Lebanon's sovereignty and stability, aligning with the positions adopted by the Lebanese government on these matters.
