Baabda: President of the Republic, General Joseph Aoun, received the Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to Lebanon, Fahad Salem Saeed Al Kaabi, at Baabda Palace. The discussions centered around the general situation in Lebanon and the broader region, alongside the bilateral relations between Lebanon and the UAE.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, President Aoun extended his greetings to UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan through Ambassador Al Kaabi. He expressed his gratitude for the UAE's decision to permit Emirati citizens to travel to Lebanon, referring to Lebanon as their second home.

In another engagement, President Aoun met with the Head of the Central Inspection Board, Judge Georges Attieh. They discussed the progress of various dossiers managed by the Inspection Board. The focus was on enhancing the performance of public administrations, public institutions, and municipalities, as well as efforts to prevent corruption.
