Beirut: President of the Republic, General Joseph Aoun, departed Rafic Hariri International Airport at 2:00 pm today, heading to Doha on an official visit to Qatar at the invitation of Qatari Emir, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.

According to National News Agency – Lebanon, President Aoun is accompanied by Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants, Youssef Raji. The Lebanese Ambassador to Qatar, Farah Berri, will join the official delegation in Doha.

President Aoun’s two-day visit includes a bilateral meeting with the Emir of Qatar and expanded talks involving both the Qatari and Lebanese sides.
