Beirut: The Lebanese Presidency announced that President of the Republic, General Joseph Aoun, departed Beirut's Rafic Hariri International Airport this afternoon, heading to Rome, on a visit during which he will meet with Pope Leo XIV tomorrow.

According to National news agency - Lebanon, President Aoun is also scheduled to meet with Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni on Friday.
