Beirut: President of the Republic, General Joseph Aoun, on Thursday met at Baabda Palace with MP Ahmad Rustom, with whom he discussed the needs of the Akkar region ahead of the launch of operations at Rene Mouawad Airport in Qlayaat, particularly infrastructure, transportation, and other essential requirements.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, MP Rustom also reaffirmed his support for President Aoun's positions and his national and sovereign choices.
