Public Works, Tourism Ministers Inspect Beirut Airport Facilities

Beirut: Public Works and Transport Minister Fayez Rasamny and Tourism Minister Laura Lahoud conducted an inspection tour at Beirut-Rafic Hariri International Airport to review ongoing preparations aimed at improving services at Lebanon's main gateway for arriving passengers. During their visit, the ministers focused on ensuring that the airport facilities meet the expectations of travelers and contribute positively to their experience upon arriving in the country.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Lahoud expressed her gratitude to Rasamny for his persistent efforts to advance improvement works at the airport despite the challenging conditions the country currently faces. The collaborative efforts between the two ministries aim to enhance the infrastructure and services provided to visitors, reflecting Lebanon's commitment to maintaining its tourism appeal.

During the visit, the two ministers were briefed by Airport Security chief Brigadier General Fadi Kfoury on the current security measures implemented at the airport. These measures are crucial in protecting the airport and ensuring the safety of all passengers, thus reinforcing the airport's role as a secure and efficient hub for international travel. The inspection tour underscores the Lebanese government's dedication to maintaining high standards of safety and service at one of its key international entry points.
