Beirut: Qatari Emir, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, on Tuesday received Lebanon's Grand Mufti, Sheikh Abdel Latif Derian, at Lusail Palace in Doha, where the latter offered condolences on the passing of the Emir's father, the late Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, during his visit, Derian also met Qatari Minister of Endowments Ghanem bin Shaheen Al Ghanem to convey his condolences. The Grand Mufti expressed gratitude to Qatar's leadership, government, and people for their ongoing support for Lebanon and its state institutions.
