QATAR’S EMIR AT 2022 FIFA WORLD CUP: WELCOME EVERYONE IN THE DOHA OF ALL

At the opening of the 2022 FIFA World Cup, the Emir of Qatar, Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, said: “How beautiful it is for people to put aside what divides them in favor of what unites them…From Qatar, from the Arab world, I welcome everyone to the World Cup 2022…”

He added: “We worked with many people and invested in the good of all humanity.”

The Qatari Prince’s address came at the 2022 FIFA World Cup opening ceremony which kicked off a short while ago at Al Bayt Stadium in Doha.
